MISSIONS
We have eight trained Stephen Ministers.

Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations.

Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Our largest mission’s fundraiser provides funds for local non-profit organizations through grants since 1999.
Mayfest features a giant yard sale, bake sale, garden shop and BBQ Chicken Dinners for $8. All proceeds benefit local and global missions.

We participate with several organizations to fight hunger in our community:
Community Crossroads Center
We provide and serve one dinner meal a month and raised $88,000 to furnish a commercial kitchen at the facility.

The Joy Soup Kitchen

Change for Hunger Monthly
A Bucket Brigade of our children collects loose change from the congregation to support food programs.

The Greenville Food Bank

CROP WALK

Meals on Wheels

Every year our youth group goes on a mission. Last summer they went to Honduras to Carolina Cross Connection to help refurbish an orphanage.

Through the Neighbor to Neighbor Luncheon, Presbyterian Women raise
money for people to pay their heating and electric bills through the cold Winter months.

We participate in helping to rebuild communities through programs such as Habitat for Humanity and Presbyterian Disaster Relief.

Talented makers in our congregation make a variety of comfort items for members and non-members including prayer shawls, pocket patches and prayer quilts.
